For those of you who don't know me, I'm DBA, aka Dixie Bee Acres. Named because my small homestead is located along the old Dixie Bee Highway. I grow a lot of produce and pumpkins. I raise chickens and am planning out a small chick hatchery hobby/business this year. I also keep meat rabbits and help my daughter with her show rabbits. In the spring, we buy a few pigs and feed them out for Kamp Kenmore.

Hi DBA!!! I followed you here! My name is Wendy. I live in SE Indiana. I raise dairy goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, & human kids! I put out a huge garden, can a lot, butcher, bake & cook from scratch. I make goat milk soap, soy candles, & my newest thing is tea roses. Each rose has a tea bag nestled inside. You place the entire rose in your cup. They are really cute. I took this business over from a fellow homesteader. I'm glad we have another place to gather if needed.

I am Don, hadn't been active on HT for a long time. Didn't feel that welcome over there. I look forward to having a place I can trust. Always liked and respected Melissa.

If you want a peanut butter pie you will have to come & pick it up. I would like to put a face with a name.

Howdy from central northern MI (currently). I've been Jerngen on HT since Gen was pregnant with our oldest daughter so..... 9 years ago in a couple of months? I haven't been active much the last year or so due to not liking certain changes that had happened. I spend most of my online time on Facebook and various facebook groups. I'm "friends" with lots of HT folks there. I'm Jeremy. Actually I've recently become a photography nut and spend most of my free time on photography pages/forums studying but I still try to keep up with the canning/gardening/homesteading pages too.

Howdy all, I am David aka Possum Belly. I am a retired and happily married man. My wife is still working and we live here in NW GA on a homestead trying to prepare for what may be coming down the pike.
I am sure disappointed in the goings on on HT. Sure am glad to have this site. Thank you Melissa.

MZgarden here. Not known for following the crowd, but made an exception. We are in SW Ohio, empty nesters beginning our journey on the land. Raising chickens (meat/layers), dairy goats and occasional pigs. Gardening, canning, dehydrating, crafting, remodeling, building, and most importantly trying to learn it all, lol. Glad to be here and glad to see others.

Hi, I'm happy to be here where there can be trust. My name is Alison and I live in Michigan with my husband, dogs, horses, chickens ducks and gardens. I enjoy many homesteady things, but my main farmy focus I suppose is breeding and showing silkies.

Hi! I am eager to be a part of this! I've been rather reluctant to share much on HT...I mainly participated in the poultry forum but have watched the rest of you from afar on the other forums... My husband and I live in the country with our inside/outside cats and dog. I raise chickens for eggs/pets, we garden/can, during haymaking I drive a tractor for a neighbor/friend of ours, and we LOVE to cook, and I dabble in stained glass/mosaics when time allows. Regards to all! Mari
