It's still chilly out and I have some ground beef and potatoes to use up so I'm thinking a cottage pie might be in order

No, I cannot do this stuff alone anymore . I'm slowly giving way and Thanking Heaven for young energetic women We may sacrifice one of the quiche for lunch LOL In His Love Mich

I took bean soup out of the freezer this morning since I was going to be gone all day. Didn't take it long to heat up.

Daughter came home last night after being with her BF for a couple of days so not sure what will be cooking around here today... Since my tummy isn't fond of the meds I am taking right now I am thinking a salad will be what's for dinner for me ... As welI am not up to doing a lot of standing or a long cooking session today so I need fast and easy ...

I'm thinking Shrimp Scampi. Haven't been able to cook lately due to sciatic issues but this should be quick and easy.

I made up a pot of chicken, vegetable soup. Has lots of vegetables in it; green pepper, onion, tomato, black eye peas that I canned last year, some carrots and cabbage. Had the chicken and pan drippings left from a chicken I roasted last week.

after thinking and looking at all you all are having I developed a hankering for sausage gravy and toast or biscuits with hash browns .. I don't have any sausage in the freezer but do have freeze dried sausage crumbles from Honeyville Grains on my pantry shelf so am going to make some with the freeze dried sausage ... I bought the sausage along with ground beef crumbles ..tomato powder and cheddar cheese powder to make meals in a jar and what better way to make a comfort food dish than use my food stores ?

Last night I made a big pot of chili and a pan of cornbread. We had a spiced pear pie for dessert. We have some of the pie left so will have that and then I'm just warming in the oven some taquitos for me and Joe and we're going to have chips and salsa with them. It's still pretty cool here so anything hot sounds good.
